Since we moved to Orlando I just don’t seem to be able to see the games on TV. Yeah, it was my fault for sleeping instead of watching the game Monday night. But otherwise, not many Dolphins games are shown on TV in the area. I’m inundated with Jacksonville Jags and Tampa Bucks – But, No Dolphins.
Part of the issue, I’m sure, is the fact that we’re only receiving over-the-air TV. The past year has been a bitch with Denette being unemployed for 6-7 months, resulting in paring back on services to save $$ like so many other folks these days.
I’m not a “sports nut” like many guys, though I have been a life-long Dolphins fan. This was mostly a result of age and proximity I’m sure, since I grew-up in South Florida. Now that we’ve moved north, besides family, it’s the only thing I miss. With all the new channels coming on-line since the digital transition, can’t we have one of ‘em follow and broadcast the Dolphins games in Orlando?
Maybe I spoke too soon. I DID get to see the game yesterday. 0 and 3? Looks like we suck again! With Pennington out, it doesn’t look like the season will get much better.
